Know what else is funny, this started out as a still life. That’s my office chair. Re-colored a bit. Yeah, I’m going the fuck to bed.

Cosplayers are amazing

consultingavatar:

when you think about it, it’s quite phenomenal. we are

  • models
  • tailors
  • crafters
  • hairstylists
  • woodworkers
  • leatherworkers
  • metalworkers
  • artists
  • actors
  • fashion designers

we are everything we wished to be as children, no matter whether our cosplays are accurate or not, well or poorly made. Be proud of yourself, cosplayers! You are truly amazing.

Not Iambic….Do Not Accept…

These tags I’ll pop, and boast in rhyming verse
that what I wear puts swagger in my gait;
though twenty shillings have I in my purse,
my self-esteem and manhood both inflate
when lofty furs I purchase for a cent.
Thy grandpa’s clothes are worthy salvage, though
they smell a trifle musty. Still, I spent
much less to dress myself from head to toe.

To save or not to save? The question’s moot.
I’ll never give my coin to high-street crooks.
These dusty shelves will yield their hidden loot
to those, like me, more frugal in their looks.
Like ancient coins washed up on distant shores,
I’ll find my treasures in these thrifty stores.
     - Macklemore, “Thrift Shoppe”

THERE WE GO!

Friendleader - A John Egbert Fan Song (Download)
Track Art - docmuerte

A song I’ve been working on for the past few days, and something I’ve been pretty excited to show you guys. Once again, the amazing mixing/piano is credited to Tamara. The guitar/vocals/writing was done by myself.

How do you expect me to lead your troops
When I’m Jumping through all of these hoops
Should I leave behind and forget this pain
All the heartache that this game has lain

A seed that melancholy grows
My sorrow knows only strange prose
I can’t just forget how I feel
A family murdered like old crows
And now this sadness only grows
I can’t just forget that it’s real

Will my best friend even care
When I try to tussle his blonde hair
It’s only a matter of time
In all the years that come and pass
Will this binding friendship even last
And beat through the dirt and the grime
There’s nothing I can do or say to make this feeling fly away
The heroes of breathe and of time

And love is just a stupid game
For people who are dumb and lame
I have no time for that shit
And even if I tried and did
Do you think she’d love me, please don’t kid
There’s no one left to blame

A hero who controls his breath
Will close his eyes and pray for death

Another fabulous song Nate let me help with :3

Make sure you include the date, guidelines, specific details about the meet-up, where it’s at, activities happening, any planned photo-shoots, whether or not it’s acceptable to wear troll make-up, etc. Also do not forget to include contact information so people can contact you with questions about the meet-up.

Feel free to ask anything you’d like.
